What do our governors do?

The governing body works alongside the online school’s staff to achieve the best outcomes for our students. 

They have three core functions:

• To support the leadership team by providing the clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction of the online school.
   
• To hold the school leadership team accountable for the educational performance of the online school and its students, as well as the effective and efficient performance management of its staff.
   
• To oversee the financial performance of the online school and make sure its money is well spent.

Each member of our governing body is committed to the continuous improvement of our online school so that every student can build towards a brighter future and reach their full potential.
